Sanofi-Aventis chooses Active for a project of mechanical conveyors in the new distribution center – Ocoyoacac Plant, Mexico

When Sanofi-Synthelabo acquired the pharmaceutical industry Aventis, it also undertook a new challenge. With the merge of the two companies the need for storage and volume of sales increased.

Among this situation, Sanofi-Aventis Mexico decided to build a new distribution center in the plant of Ocoyoacac, located 55 Km from Mexico City, using mechanical conveyors to speed up the separation process for sale orders.

The successful use of WMS modules and the trustworthy methodology were key points for Sanofi-Aventis to choose Active. In this new project, Active will be developing and validating the system that will be the brain of this process, integrating the mechanical conveyors with SAP. In addition to managing the other orders’ storage and separation processes.
