Merck Sharp & Dohme gets the Integrated Manufacturing System of Active
Mar/2006

Active started up in March 2006 the Manufacturing Automation Project in the Pharmaceutical Industry Merck Sharp & Dohme with conclusion foresight for October.

According to the developer Anderson Coqueiro, SIF’s (Integrated Manufacturing System) objectives are: Managing the preparation, revision and approval of manufacturing instructions; follow up the execution of the manufacturing process; generate the electronic batch record of the produced batches.

Productivity and security gain, by reducing the conference time of the documentation for the produced batches; eliminating manufacturing instructions in hard-copy, managing the approval of the prescriptions / check-lists and control of changes; on-line electronic filling out of the documentation for each produced batch. These are some of the benefits what MSD will be enjoying with the new Active’s project.

Commitment, Sincerity, Integrity, Ethics, Innovation, Partnership and Social Responsibility. Once again Active is honored with its mission, being chosen by one of the largest pharmaceutical industries for the implementation of this new project.
