Boehringer Ingelheim of Brazil choses Active for Customized IT Solution

The Boehringer Ingelheim Corporation is one of the world's 20 leading pharmaceutical companies. It is headquartered in Ingelheim, Germany, currently has 143 affiliated companies in 47 countries spread out around the globe.

Estabilished in Brazil since 1956, the company has been in the marketing with tradicional medicine products as Anador, Bisolvon, Buscopan, Finn and Mucosolvan, among anothers. It also has 30 products for fulfiment of medical prescriptions.

Active has been chosen specially by it's projects methodology, that aims an high quality solution with implementation on time, costs and scope previously set.

The Project, named Labeling, has as objective provide a solution enable to make the configuration and printing of identification labels for finished goods, materials under manufacture process, non approved lots, productive materials and non productive materials. The implementation's deadline is february 2007.

"After the implementation, Boehringer shall use only one system for configuration and printing labels, that also is able to make changes on the layouts.", says André Sodré, Projects Manager for Active Brasil.
