Altana
Pharma: Dispensation areas counts on Active’s solution Jan/2006 Altana Pharma located in the city of Jaguariúna, in São Paulo, found in Active the best solution for the dispensation areas. Now it counts on a modern and reliable system. The implementation began on January 5, 2006 and almost seven months after the beginning of the project. The main objective was the development and delivery of a system that controls the whole weighing and conference process for raw materials in the dispensation and production areas of Altana, points out André Sodré, Project Manager. According to Sodré, some critical factors were still faced for the success of the project, such as: commitment of the team; agility and objectivity in the decisions, time administration; qualified team and methodology. After all, Altana counts nowadays on a system that has conformity with the FDA regulatory standards, standard 21 CFR Part11, in addition to integration with systems used by Altana such as SAP R/3 (ERP), Lotus Notes and Lakos. |

generated with the new system The company gained agility in its processes, since there was reduction in weighing time of materials and increase of security with the elimination of annotations in hard-copy and calculations, manually done before. Increasing also the security for conference of material weighed in the weighing area and in the production. Now, the supply for the area of materials requests complements has the FEFO assurance, and also the elimination of the Log Book, since the register of operations is now automatically executed by the system and substitutes the hand-written notes in the area log book. Two teams worked for the success of this project: one with six employees of Active, and another one with 10 employees of Altana. In the end of the project, twenty users of the weighing and production departments had been trained and were using the system. |
